Insanely Cool Tron Stop Motion
You know I've been waiting to get my hands on a real light cycle since I was 14 in 1982. And I'm thinking that if NASA would stop fooling around with the boring ass space shuttle and the Grand Old Party would quit spending trillions on needless wars then I might have my light cycle by now.

It's Over Hillary, Please Go Away.
It seems obvious the Clintons are willing to bring down the entire Democratic party to get their way. If Hillary manages to steal this nomination by dragging Obama and the DNC through the mud then you can count me out.
I would rather sit through another 4 years of Republican nonsense then reward the DEMS for their stupidity.

New Season of Battlestar Galactica
Oh hells ya. A new season of BG! Because if I don't stop watching lame pundits endlessly debate Hillary's evil campaign strategy vs. Obama's experience then I am going to lose it.

Lord of the Rings music video
The Lord of the Rings books are great and the movies are fantastic as well, but now we have the greatest music video ever made to complete it all.

Sports
It would be an understatement to say that I'm no fan of watching sports, in fact I am pretty much diametrically opposed to any activity that requires 'group participation'. The fact that some people memorize statistics and players and all that, really just baffles me and kind of creeps me out. (No offense to you sports fanatics)
With that it mind, I found myself recently at a spring training game between the Braves and Dodgers. My friends/crew (Dan and Jmac) thought it would be a great way to celebrate the last day of work on the movie "Baitshop" and I must admit that once you add in the beer, soda, hot dogs, giant pretzels and camaraderie it was a fun afternoon. But as for memorizing stats and players, that is strictly for weirdo sports fanatics and I want nothing to do with all that.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go get in line for the next big sci fi movie, it opens in only 3 months and I want to be first in line.

Super Tuesday Redux
Yes, this video is just a tad schmaltzy but you must forgive me because we all need just a little bit of hope (and schmaltz) after seven years of vitriolic, partisan, corrupt, and down right ludicrous politics.

A meditation on toast & jam
As Finn ate his breakfast this morning he discovered that the best part, and really the only part he wanted was the toast and jam. He devoured the tasty preserves as if he hadn't eaten for days and then became agitated while waiting for C to prepare his next slice.
In a moment of silliness or perhaps divine inspiration I told Finn that he needed to be calm and meditate. I closed my eyes and began to repeat "ohms" in a melodic monk like voice, and sure enough Finn followed suit and began to chant too. I know that Finn isn't the next Dalai Lama or anything like that but if we can prevent him from being half as stressed as C and I then we will be ecstatic.
ooooooohhhhhhhmmmmmmssssssss ooooooooooooohhhhhhhhmmmmmmssssss
Hey it can't hurt, right?
